St Christopher's is in The Church of England. Was built from 1906-07 by architect Arthur Harrison in the Free Gothic style of Sutton Coldfield brick with Alton stone dressings. The chancel was never built. Certain sculpted features by Benjamin Creswick. The north aisle was by Benjamin Warren, 1924-25. Springfield Centre built by Hickton Madeley in 2007.

St Christopher's is near the no 1 bus route, which when heading to Acocks Green goes down College Road and turns at the island onto Springfield Road. The no 1 to Five Ways goes up College Road in theother direction.
