There is a subsidiary door with, above in a Gothic frame, a rampant lion and the worlds 'Ye Olde Red Lion' in a scroll beneath.

It was the first of the Birmingham "reformed pubs".

There is a coat of arms shield with the motto 'Loyal Devoir' (which is Latin for Loyal Duty).

It has been a Grade II listed building since 1982.

Has been owned for several decades now by Ember Inns.

The pub serves great quality pub food, and has a spacious beer garden.

Nearby is the 11A, 11C and 35 bus routes on the Vicarage Road.

Connecting roads to Vicarage Road include Grove Road and Howard Road.
